Kram & Wooster, P.S. traces its roots back to noted Tacoma attorney Earl Mann. Mr. Mann left the Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in the early 1940's
to open his own firm. Following World War II, other prominent attorneys joined Mr. Mann to establish a firm known as Mann, King & Copeland, and later known as Mann, King, Bingham, Scraggin & Manger. The firm's name was shortened to Mann & Johnson in 1991 and changed to Mann, Johnson, Wooster & McLaughlin, P.S. shortly thereafter. In 2007, the firm merged with Leggett & Kram and changed its name to Kram, Johnson, Wooster & McLaughlin. In 2011, the firm's name was shortened to Kram & Wooster, P.S.
